AI & AUTOMATION

AI Consulting

Decide what to adopt, deploy it safely, and get your people actually using it.

The practical AI picture

01

Decide

Where AI helps, what it costs and what has to be true first.

02

Deploy

Assistants, automations and agents put into real work.

03

Adopt

Training, review and a roadmap that keeps pace with budget.

A scope built around your needs.

Your priorities and current setup

What your own team keeps

Agreed responsibilities and next steps

WHAT'S INCLUDED

The work this covers.

An AI engagement usually combines several of these. The mix should reflect the tools your people already use, the data those tools touch and the work you want to hand over.

AI readiness assessment

Where AI would help, what it would cost and what has to be true first.

Tool selection

Vendor evaluation against your data, budget and existing stack.

Assistant deployment

Licensing, administration and rollout of Copilot or an equivalent.

Adoption training

Practical sessions so staff use the tools well rather than warily.

Workflow automation

Automating repeatable steps between the systems you already run.

Agent design and build

Scoping, building and testing agents that carry out defined tasks.

Agent monitoring

Ongoing review of what agents did, got wrong and changed.

Data preparation

Getting the documents an assistant reads into usable shape.

vCIO AI roadmap

Sequencing adoption against budget, risk and your wider technology plan.

Your service agreement sets out the tools we manage, the data they may access and how often the work is reviewed.

HOW IT FITS

AI that earns its place.

AI Consulting connects the decision about what to adopt with the work of deploying it and getting people to use it. The mix should reflect where your team actually loses time, not where the category is loudest.

Start by describing the work you would hand over first: the report someone rebuilds every month, the inbox nobody owns, the document review that delays everything behind it.

Assessment, deployment, automation and agent work serve different needs. Third-party licensing, platform fees and model usage costs are billed separately.

How we work with you

AI work touches your data, security and how your team communicates, so we bring IT, security and marketing people into the plan where it matters.

SEPARATE SCOPE

What sits outside an AI engagement.

We quote additional work separately, so you can review the cost and approve it before it begins.

Custom model training or fine-tuning

Scoped separately where a general assistant will not do the job.

Line-of-business application development

Building the software an agent plugs into is separate work.

Third-party AI licensing and usage fees

Billed separately from EVERNET service fees and passed through.

Legal advice on AI regulation

EVERNET prepares and supports; your counsel advises.

Work beyond the agreed scope of work

Scoped and quoted, so nothing is assumed on either side.

HOW IT'S PRICED

Ways to engage.

Clients are only charged for the services they select. AI labor is billed at the same rates as IT labor. The two AI bundles attach to a managed IT agreement and are quoted per environment while delivery costs are gathered.

AI Basic bundle

By quote

Governance and safe adoption, added to an existing managed IT agreement. Assistant deployment, acceptable-use policy, shadow-AI reporting and quarterly review.

AI Agentic bundle

By quote

Everything in Basic, plus agents that take action — with identity, logging, human checkpoints and monthly exception review.

AI readiness assessment

Fixed fee

A scoped first engagement that does not require a managed agreement, quoted from the same labor rates as IT work, and producing a plan you can act on either way.

Standard hourly

$165 / hour

AI work is billed at the same labor rates as IT work. For occasional requests and ad hoc support; bundles, block hours and projects offer other ways to buy.

Fixed-fee project

Per statement of work

Automation and agent builds scoped and quoted at discounted project rates, on the same terms as IT project work.

vCIO AI roadmap

Recurring

Sequencing and planning without the full managed scope.

AI labor is billed at the same rates as IT labor. Bundle pricing is quoted per environment while delivery costs are gathered, and is confirmed at proposal. Your proposal itemizes the services you select and any separate software, licensing, model usage or media costs.

AI support for your locations

For teams in Hartford and across Connecticut, Boston and Massachusetts, or New York City and New York State, the right managed IT plan starts with where people work and which systems they depend on.

EVERNET provides remote services across the United States, with a concentration in the Northeast. We can work alongside your internal team or manage an agreed scope. Review Microsoft 365 administration, device support, backup and security needs together, including the responsibilities that stay with your staff.

On-site availability depends on proximity to an EVERNET service location and is confirmed during scoping. Bring your office locations, remote-work needs and any hands-on requirements to the first conversation.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Questions worth asking any provider.

Where does our data go?

Which tools are approved, what they may read, whether a vendor retains anything and whether it can be used for training are settled in writing before deployment rather than assumed afterwards.

What happens when an agent gets it wrong?

Agent work carries action logging, defined human checkpoints and a rollback path. Review cadence and who holds the exception queue are set out in your agreement.

Can we start small?

Yes. A readiness assessment is a scoped first step with no managed agreement required, and the plan it produces is yours whether or not EVERNET does the build.
