East of the river
Managed IT for Glastonbury, Manchester and the towns between.
Cross the Connecticut River from downtown Hartford and you are in a different business landscape: professional offices and medical practices along Glastonbury’s Main Street and Hebron Avenue, retail and distribution around Buckland Hills in Manchester, aerospace and manufacturing suppliers in East Hartford and South Windsor, and growing companies in Vernon. All of it is within a short drive of EVERNET’s office on Pearl Street.
Who we work with
Professional practices, medical and dental offices, manufacturers and aerospace suppliers, distributors, retailers and nonprofits in Glastonbury, Manchester, East Hartford, South Windsor, Vernon and neighboring towns.
What a managed agreement covers
Day-to-day employee support, Microsoft 365 administration, hosted phone service, backup and disaster recovery, patch management, 24/7/365 device monitoring, password management, vendor management and vCIO planning.
Close enough to show up
Most requests are resolved remotely, but when a network closet, a new office or a hardware swap needs hands, these towns are minutes from our office. On-site scheduling is confirmed in your agreement.
These towns sit inside the Hartford service area; see IT consulting and managed IT in Hartford. See IT support and managed IT in Connecticut, cybersecurity in Connecticut, pricing and co-managed IT.
Doing business in Glastonbury and Manchester
East of the Connecticut River, Glastonbury and Manchester mix old and new. The Rocky Hill–Glastonbury Ferry has crossed the river since 1655, and the state Department of Transportation calls it the nation’s longest-running continuously operated ferry. Manchester grew around the Cheney Brothers mills, once the center of the American silk industry and now a National Historic Landmark district, and today its business base also includes the retail and service corridor around Buckland Hills.
The companies here are mostly small and mid-size: medical and dental practices, accounting and law offices, insurance agencies, contractors and suppliers to the aerospace plants in East Hartford next door. They tend to have one office, a few remote staff and no in-house IT. We give them a managed baseline that fits that size, with Microsoft 365 administration, patching, monitoring and backup, plus HIPAA-aligned setup for practices that handle patient records. Connecticut’s breach law requires notice to affected residents within 60 days, so we keep the logs and backups that make an incident answerable. Our Hartford office is a short drive across the river. See IT maintenance.
What to work through.
Where east-of-the-river businesses usually start.
Help desk and device support
Employee support, Microsoft 365 administration and device setup for Glastonbury and Manchester offices, with request channels and response commitments written into your agreement.
Cybersecurity essentials
Endpoint protection, email threat protection, multifactor authentication, patch management and security awareness training, monitored around the clock.
Backup and disaster recovery
Workstation and data backup with restore tests, so an outage or ransomware event is a recovery rather than a rebuild.
Co-managed IT with your internal team
EVERNET fills the gaps alongside an internal IT person or team, with responsibilities for each side written down.
Technology planning (vCIO)
Business reviews, budgeting and vendor coordination so technology decisions are made with data rather than in a crisis.
Web, marketing and accessibility
The same team can take on your website, marketing program or an accessibility audit, scoped separately or together.

It is difficult to put into a review just how much we have valued this partnership. They have gone far beyond being a vendor to the Tarrant County Bar Association — they have become genuine supporters of our organization and the work we do. They have worked with us on everything from building our public-facing legal help website to guiding us through a complete rebranding and logo redesign. With every project, they take the time to understand our organization, our members, our mission, and what we are actually trying to accomplish rather than simply delivering a product. But what has impressed me most is how invested they have become in our success. They show up. They attend our events. They celebrate our wins. They bring us new ideas and look for ways they can help. When we work with them, it truly feels like we have another team in our corner. Our Bar Association is better because of this relationship, and I don't say that lightly. They have consistently gone above and beyond for us, and I am incredibly grateful for the creativity, responsiveness, enthusiasm, and genuine care they bring to everything they do. I cannot recommend them highly enough.Posted on Facebook![]()

EVERNET has played a pivotal role in our business growth. They have been a fantastic partner over the last year, doing everything from rebuilding our website to managing our IT difficulties to improving our internal processes. They took care of a lot of the headaches that come with small business ownership, which allowed me to focus on doing the work I love and getting more clients through the door. If your business needs help in marketing, IT, or security, I cannot recommend them enough.

Questions before you get started.
Do you provide on-site support in Glastonbury and Manchester?
Most day-to-day requests are handled remotely with monitoring running continuously. On-site visits are scheduled from Hartford when hands-on work is needed, and availability for your location is confirmed during scoping.
Do you support aerospace and manufacturing suppliers?
Yes. Segmented production networks, documented controls for customer security questionnaires and backup that covers both office and shop-floor systems are standard parts of those agreements.
How is managed IT priced?
A managed service agreement is a recurring monthly fee based on the users and devices covered. Block hours, hourly support and scoped projects are available for needs that are not ongoing. Current rates are on our pricing page.
Can you work with the vendors and software we already use?
Yes. EVERNET is vendor agnostic and coordinates with your existing software, phone and internet providers on your behalf.
What happens in the first 30 days?
We review your current setup, agree the systems covered and the request channels, document who handles what, and put monitoring, backup and the security basics in place before anything else changes.
