Fairfield County
Managed IT for the corridor from Greenwich to Danbury.
Fairfield County is Connecticut’s densest business market: corporate offices and financial firms in Stamford and Greenwich, professional practices in Norwalk and Westport, and manufacturers and distributors toward Shelton and Danbury along Route 7 and I-95. Many of those businesses have a few dozen people, no IT department and an executive who is tired of being the help desk. EVERNET takes that role, fully managed or alongside the IT person you already have.
Who we work with
Small and midsize businesses and professional firms across Fairfield County: finance and insurance, law, healthcare, nonprofits and the manufacturers and logistics companies along the Route 7 and I-95 corridors.
What a managed agreement covers
Day-to-day employee support, Microsoft 365 administration, hosted phone service, backup and disaster recovery, patch management, 24/7/365 device monitoring, password management, vendor management and vCIO planning, with the systems covered and response commitments set out in your agreement.
Hybrid teams and New York commuters
Fairfield County offices run hybrid, with staff splitting time between home, the office and Manhattan. Secure remote access, multifactor authentication and consistent devices are built into the agreement rather than bolted on.

Doing business in Stamford
Stamford works on a New York schedule. Metro-North and Amtrak stop at the Stamford train station, and Charter Communications chose its Harbor Point headquarters site for its proximity to mass transit, with direct access to the station platform. Many people who work here split the week between a Stamford office, home and a client site in Manhattan, so laptops, phones and Microsoft 365 have to work the same way everywhere.
Crossing the state line also brings New York’s rules into play. If you hold private information about New York residents, the SHIELD Act requires reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards and prompt breach notice to those residents and to New York authorities. Firms regulated by New York’s Department of Financial Services also answer to its cybersecurity regulation, 23 NYCRR 500. Connecticut’s own breach law sets a 60-day deadline to notify affected residents. We build one security baseline that satisfies both states, with multifactor authentication, managed devices, tested backups and written incident steps, and support it from Hartford with on-site visits when the work needs hands. See managed support.
What to work through.
Where Fairfield County businesses usually start.
Help desk and device support
Employee support, Microsoft 365 administration and device setup for Stamford and Fairfield County offices, with request channels and response commitments written into your agreement.
Cybersecurity essentials
Endpoint protection, email threat protection, multifactor authentication, patch management and security awareness training, monitored around the clock.
Backup and disaster recovery
Workstation and data backup with restore tests, so an outage or ransomware event is a recovery rather than a rebuild.
Co-managed IT with your internal team
EVERNET fills the gaps alongside an internal IT person or team, with responsibilities for each side written down.
Technology planning (vCIO)
Business reviews, budgeting and vendor coordination so technology decisions are made with data rather than in a crisis.
Web, marketing and accessibility
The same team can take on your website, marketing program or an accessibility audit, scoped separately or together.

It is difficult to put into a review just how much we have valued this partnership. They have gone far beyond being a vendor to the Tarrant County Bar Association — they have become genuine supporters of our organization and the work we do. They have worked with us on everything from building our public-facing legal help website to guiding us through a complete rebranding and logo redesign. With every project, they take the time to understand our organization, our members, our mission, and what we are actually trying to accomplish rather than simply delivering a product. But what has impressed me most is how invested they have become in our success. They show up. They attend our events. They celebrate our wins. They bring us new ideas and look for ways they can help. When we work with them, it truly feels like we have another team in our corner. Our Bar Association is better because of this relationship, and I don't say that lightly. They have consistently gone above and beyond for us, and I am incredibly grateful for the creativity, responsiveness, enthusiasm, and genuine care they bring to everything they do. I cannot recommend them highly enough.Posted on Facebook![]()

EVERNET has played a pivotal role in our business growth. They have been a fantastic partner over the last year, doing everything from rebuilding our website to managing our IT difficulties to improving our internal processes. They took care of a lot of the headaches that come with small business ownership, which allowed me to focus on doing the work I love and getting more clients through the door. If your business needs help in marketing, IT, or security, I cannot recommend them enough.
