North of Hartford
Managed IT along the I-91 corridor.
The I-91 corridor north of Hartford is home to corporate campuses and insurers in Windsor, logistics and aerospace suppliers around Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, and manufacturers, distributors and professional practices in Enfield and Suffield. Many of those businesses have one person doing IT alongside another job. EVERNET takes that on from Hartford, fully managed or co-managed.
Who we work with
Manufacturers, distributors and logistics companies, aerospace suppliers, insurance and professional offices, healthcare practices and nonprofits in Windsor, Windsor Locks, East Windsor, Enfield, Suffield and neighboring towns.
What a managed agreement covers
Day-to-day employee support, Microsoft 365 administration, hosted phone service, backup and disaster recovery, patch management, 24/7/365 device monitoring, password management, vendor management and vCIO planning.
Warehouses, plants and offices on one agreement
Segmented networks for office, warehouse and production systems, Wi-Fi that covers the whole floor, and monitoring on the equipment a facility depends on, with the office staff covered by the same help desk.
These towns sit inside the Hartford service area; see network support in Connecticut. See IT support and managed IT in Connecticut, cybersecurity in Connecticut, pricing and co-managed IT.
Doing business in Windsor and Enfield
Day Hill Road is the economic engine of Windsor, home to most of the town’s employment base: back-office operations for insurers and financial firms such as Voya and The Hartford, plus warehousing and distribution that value the highway access and nearby Bradley International Airport. Windsor’s job count grew 26 percent between 2000 and 2010, while the state lost jobs. Tobacco barns still stand on Windsor farmland a few miles from the office parks.
Enfield brings manufacturing. CT State Asnuntuck runs an advanced manufacturing program that was the first of its kind in Connecticut, with machine technology, robotics and mechatronics, and welding, and partners with employers such as Pratt & Whitney. Manufacturers in the area that supply aerospace and defense primes face a new requirement: since November 10, 2025 Defense Department contracts can require Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification. For those companies we pair everyday IT support with the documentation CMMC assessments expect: an asset inventory, access controls, logging and a written system security plan. Back-office tenants on Day Hill Road get the same managed baseline, scaled to their size. See cybersecurity risk assessment.
What to work through.
Where businesses north of Hartford usually start.
Help desk and device support
Employee support, Microsoft 365 administration and device setup for Windsor and Enfield offices, with request channels and response commitments written into your agreement.
Cybersecurity essentials
Endpoint protection, email threat protection, multifactor authentication, patch management and security awareness training, monitored around the clock.
Backup and disaster recovery
Workstation and data backup with restore tests, so an outage or ransomware event is a recovery rather than a rebuild.
Co-managed IT with your internal team
EVERNET fills the gaps alongside an internal IT person or team, with responsibilities for each side written down.
Technology planning (vCIO)
Business reviews, budgeting and vendor coordination so technology decisions are made with data rather than in a crisis.
Web, marketing and accessibility
The same team can take on your website, marketing program or an accessibility audit, scoped separately or together.

It is difficult to put into a review just how much we have valued this partnership. They have gone far beyond being a vendor to the Tarrant County Bar Association — they have become genuine supporters of our organization and the work we do. They have worked with us on everything from building our public-facing legal help website to guiding us through a complete rebranding and logo redesign. With every project, they take the time to understand our organization, our members, our mission, and what we are actually trying to accomplish rather than simply delivering a product. But what has impressed me most is how invested they have become in our success. They show up. They attend our events. They celebrate our wins. They bring us new ideas and look for ways they can help. When we work with them, it truly feels like we have another team in our corner. Our Bar Association is better because of this relationship, and I don't say that lightly. They have consistently gone above and beyond for us, and I am incredibly grateful for the creativity, responsiveness, enthusiasm, and genuine care they bring to everything they do. I cannot recommend them highly enough.Posted on Facebook![]()

EVERNET has played a pivotal role in our business growth. They have been a fantastic partner over the last year, doing everything from rebuilding our website to managing our IT difficulties to improving our internal processes. They took care of a lot of the headaches that come with small business ownership, which allowed me to focus on doing the work I love and getting more clients through the door. If your business needs help in marketing, IT, or security, I cannot recommend them enough.
