HOW IT FITS
IT support that fits your team.
Managed IT connects day-to-day employee support with the maintenance and planning your technology needs. The mix should reflect the people, devices and applications in your environment.
Start by describing the work that is falling behind: repeated requests, unclear ownership, aging equipment or an upcoming change. We review the current setup and agree the systems covered, request channels and responsibilities. Your internal team can keep selected duties while EVERNET supplies additional capacity, or a managed agreement can define broader responsibility.
Recurring managed support, block hours, hourly support and scoped projects serve different needs. Hardware purchases, third-party subscriptions and work beyond the agreement are separate scope decisions. Automated monitoring can run continuously; staffed support hours, escalation arrangements and response commitments are defined in your service agreement.

SEPARATE SCOPE
What sits outside a managed agreement.
We quote additional work separately, so you can review the cost and approve it before it begins.
Line-of-business application development
Application development is separate from routine IT support.
Physical cabling and low-voltage work
Coordinated with a specialist trade where required.
Hardware purchase cost
Procurement coordination is available; equipment cost is passed through.
Third-party software and license fees
Billed separately from EVERNET service fees.
Work beyond the agreed scope of work
Scoped and quoted, so nothing is assumed on either side.
HOW IT'S PRICED
How much do managed IT services cost?
Managed IT pricing depends on the people, devices, systems and support coverage in your agreement. EVERNET offers recurring managed services, block hours, hourly support, fixed-fee projects and a vCIO advisory retainer, so you can choose an arrangement that fits the work you need.
Managed service agreement
Recurring monthly
The standard model for ongoing IT. Priced by user, by device or as a flat program fee based on your environment.
Block hours
Pre-purchased
Blocks bought in advance at a preferential rate below the standard hourly rate.
Standard hourly
$165 / hour
For occasional requests and ad hoc support. Managed agreements, block hours and projects offer other ways to buy.
Fixed-fee project
Per statement of work
Scoped and quoted as a defined project at discounted project rates.
vCIO advisory retainer
Recurring
Strategic planning and business reviews without the full managed scope.
Compare pricing before a sales conversation. Your proposal itemizes the services you select and any separate software, licensing, hosting or other third-party costs.
Managed IT for your locations
For teams in Hartford and across Connecticut, Boston and Massachusetts, or New York City and New York State, the right managed IT plan starts with where people work and which systems they depend on.
EVERNET provides remote services across the United States, with a concentration in the Northeast. We can work alongside your internal team or manage an agreed scope. Review Microsoft 365 administration, device support, backup and security needs together, including the responsibilities that stay with your staff.
On-site availability depends on proximity to an EVERNET service location and is confirmed during scoping. Bring your office locations, remote-work needs and any hands-on requirements to the first conversation.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Questions worth asking any provider.
What does 24/7 actually cover?
Automated device health and security monitoring runs continuously across managed environments. Staffed helpdesk hours, after-hours coverage and holiday handling are set out in each service agreement and vary by tier. Ask any provider to separate the two in writing.
Can we keep some of the work in-house?
Yes. A co-managed arrangement agrees who owns each task, so your internal team keeps the duties it wants and EVERNET supplies additional capacity. Ownership is written down rather than assumed.
How are response commitments set?
Commitments are tiered by issue severity, with business-critical outages carrying the fastest committed response. Specific targets and coverage windows are documented in your agreement rather than promised generically.
