Capelli Salon: Print & Point of Service
Use in-salon tabletop signs to connect a completed appointment to booking or leaving a review.
Design approach
A small sign with one clear job
Capelli Salon wanted in-salon tabletop signs that connect a finished appointment to the next step, either booking the next visit or leaving a review. Signs on a counter have only a few seconds of attention. The brief on this page was to give each sign one principal call to action, pair a large QR code with a short scanning instruction and adapt the photography, headline and contrast to each task.
The artwork shows two acrylic tabletop stands on a warm beige surface, labeled Review and Book. The review sign is light: a hand-lettered “How did we do?” headline, a small Google review prompt with stars, a photograph of a client checking her hair in a hand mirror and a QR code with a phone icon and scanning instruction. The booking sign flips to a dark background with “Book Your Next Appointment Today!” in script, a yellow accent, calendar and scissors icons, a close photograph of a haircut and its own QR code. The contrast makes the two signs easy to tell apart at a glance.
1. Give each sign one principal call to action.
2. Pair a large QR code with a short scanning instruction.
3. Adapt photography, headline and contrast to the task rather than repeating the same sign twice.

Why it works
Each sign gives one action a clear position, pairing a short instruction with a prominent QR code.
The deliverable is a pair of coordinated tabletop designs, one for appointment booking and one for customer reviews. Each sign handles a single action, so a client sees one clear request at a time instead of a crowded sign. The QR codes connect the printed signs directly to the online booking and review destinations, and the shared layout, type and QR placement keep both recognizable as part of the same salon, even though one sign is light and the other dark.
