Shawn’s Lawns: Website

Present an excavation contractor through its work and a direct project-inquiry route.

Shawn’s Lawns

Design approach

Show the scale of the work

Shawn’s Lawns is an excavation and site-work contractor, and its projects are large enough that pictures explain them better than descriptions. The brief on this page was to present the business through its work and a direct project-inquiry route: give large-scale project photography a prominent role, keep the inquiry form next to the work rather than buried in secondary navigation, and use concise service language with a simple green-and-white hierarchy.

The artwork shows the homepage on a deep green background, with a pale green label that reads “Excavation + Site Work.” A green top bar carries a reviews link and the counties the business serves. Below it, a white header centers the company’s laurel logo between Services and About Us links and a solid green Contact Us button. The hero is an aerial photograph of a large site under construction, with graded earth and equipment beside office buildings. A green “Contact us today” panel with the start of the inquiry form sits directly on top of that photograph.

1. Give large-scale project photography a prominent role.

2. Keep the inquiry form adjacent to the work, not buried in secondary navigation.

3. Use concise service language and a simple green-and-white hierarchy.

Why it works
Large-scale work examples show what the business does, while a nearby contact route helps visitors discuss their own project.

The deliverable is an excavation and site-work website centered on project photography, service information and an inquiry form. The photography shows the scale of work the company takes on, the service pages explain what it offers, and the form placed beside the work lets a visitor describe their own project without searching for a contact page. The green-and-white system keeps each of those pieces easy to find, from the first screen to the last section of the page. Learn about our website design services.
