How it fits

Make website data useful

Your website already produces useful information about how people find you and what they do once they arrive. EVERNET sets up and connects Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and, where useful, Bing Webmaster Tools so your team can see that information clearly and use it to make decisions about content, campaigns and site changes.

What the setup covers

We verify your site with the search engines, submit your XML sitemap and connect each property to a business-owned account. In analytics we configure the events that matter to your site’s purpose, such as form submissions, phone and email clicks, file downloads or visits to key service pages, and mark the most important ones as key events. Where your site uses a consent banner, we make sure measurement respects the choices visitors make.

The setup suits businesses launching a new website, organizations that inherited analytics from a former vendor or employee, and teams that have data but little confidence in what it means.

How we run it

Discovery starts with the questions you want answered. Which services draw search traffic? Which pages lead to inquiries? Did a campaign bring new visitors? Those questions decide what we track, so the account is not filled with events nobody reviews.

We then audit any existing accounts, fix ownership and access, install or correct the tracking and test each event on the live site. Before handoff we walk your team through a simple report and explain what each source can and cannot tell you. Search Console shows how your pages appear in Google search results, while analytics shows what visitors do on the site. The two use different definitions, so their numbers will not match exactly.

What you provide and what you receive

You provide website and domain access, any existing account details and a person to own the accounts. You receive verified search properties, a configured analytics property with tested events, documented access, a short reporting guide and a list of follow-up recommendations. This work supports our SEO and AI search visibility service and the wider website design and SEO services. See pricing for how projects are scoped.

What to work through.

A clear plan, from the first conversation to delivery.

Key events

Choose the visitor actions that matter, such as inquiries, calls or downloads, and confirm each one records correctly.

Consent

Connect measurement choices to the site’s privacy and consent requirements.

Reporting

Select measures that answer a business question and identify who will review them.

Questions before you get started.

What should we measure first?

Measure the actions that matter to the website’s purpose, such as reaching a relevant service page or completing a valid inquiry. Define each event clearly and check that it fires under the intended conditions. Avoid collecting information simply because a tool makes it available.

Who should own the accounts?

The business should have an authorized account owner and appropriate access for the people doing the work. Document the property and site relationships. Do not make the setup dependent on an undocumented personal account or shared credentials.

How do analytics and Search Console differ?

They provide different views of website activity and search discovery. Interpret their definitions and reporting limits before comparing numbers. Use the information together with content, technical checks and actual business follow-up rather than assuming the reports should match exactly.
